Yes, moving house is stressful but the most exciting part of house buying, and what makes it all worth it for me, is furnishing. Everyone wants to be able to put their stamp on their home, their haven, creating a luxurious serenity to come back to and unwind in after a long day.
A huge part of that for me is home textiles: bedding, duvets, pillows, towels are the finishing touches that can really change a home from practical to your own personal 5* luxury. I am very particular with my home textiles. My mum has always taught me that those are the things worth spending more money on for the quality. My perfect evening goes something like this: come home and run a hot bubble bath, set up some candles, put a face mask on and relax. But my relaxing doesn’t stop at the bath and for me, having fresh, clean, fluffy towels that almost give you a hug is a part of that perfect evening. No really, there is nothing worse than a damp, scratchy, not-quite-big-enough, towel!

In the 6 Piece 700GSM Bamboo Towel Set you get 2 Face Cloths, 2 Hand Towels, 2 Bath Towels so much to my partner’s joy he got to test out the towels too – he is an even tougher critic when it comes to towels. As with every home textile it's important to wash them first before skin contact to avoid any potential dust, chemicals or bacteria that could be lurking. Thankfully, The Towel Shop Bamboo Towels are machine washable. I followed the instructions on the website and washed them on a normal 40º cycle which was perfect (note that on the towel itself it is advised to hand wash however I would not advise this for any towels).
When it comes to using the towels, well, they are absolutely as described. Fluffy, luxurious and absorbent which is often difficult to find with fluffy towels. I did feel as though momentarily I was not in my bathroom but in a Hilton hotel. The wicking effect that bamboo towels are known for makes them up to 3 times more absorbent than cotton towels alone. Bamboo towels have a soft and fluffy texture unrivaled by other towels allowing you to have the softest most luxurious experience possible. Bamboo Towels are also anti-fungal, and the quick drying effect of these towels allows you to use them multiple times between washes without the risk of them smelling or becoming unhygienic which is an absolute dream for me and removes all of my towel pet hates!
